NDIS Pricing Guide 2026 | What Allied Health Costs
Plain-English breakdown of NDIS allied health pricing — OT, physio, speech, psychology, behaviour support and podiatry — and how National Care Providers invoices.
Quick answer on NDIS pricing
The NDIS sets price limits in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits document, updated each financial year. National Care Providers charges at or below NDIS price limits. There’s no out-of-pocket cost for participants when supports fall within funded budgets.

What’s funded by the NDIS
- Direct therapy sessions (face-to-face, telehealth, school, in-home)
- Travel time at NDIS-set rates (capped per region)
- Reports — functional assessments, AT prescriptions, behaviour support plans
- Equipment trials and AT prescriptions (the equipment itself comes from your AT budget)
- Carer and parent coaching as part of therapy goals
What’s not funded
- Day-to-day living costs (food, rent, utilities)
- Mainstream medical (GP visits, hospital — that’s Medicare)
- Therapy unrelated to your disability or NDIS plan goals
- Cancellation fees outside NDIS-allowed parameters (we follow the 7-day notice rule)
Frequently asked questions
Will I pay any out-of-pocket cost?
Not when your NDIS plan funds the support and the practitioner charges within the NDIS price limit. NCP charges at or below the limit, so there’s no gap fee.
How does NCP get paid?
If you’re agency-managed, we claim through the NDIS portal. Plan-managed participants — we invoice your plan manager. Self-managed — we invoice you and you reimburse from your plan.
What about travel charges?
Travel is billable under NDIS rules — usually capped at 30 minutes one-way for metropolitan and longer for remote. We follow the NDIS Pricing Arrangements travel rules exactly.
How often do prices change?
The NDIS Pricing Arrangements update each 1 July. We update our rates accordingly and never charge above NDIS limits.
Can I get a written quote?
Yes — once we’ve scoped your goals at the free consultation, we provide a written service agreement and indicative quote for hours and reports.
What is a service agreement?
A short document we both sign confirming what services we’ll deliver, at what frequency, at NDIS price limit, and how invoicing works. Required by the NDIS Practice Standards.
